EmPOWER Energy Grant

Who it's for: Small businesses under 5,000 sq ft, restaurants, or 30 kW demand or less, on Oʻahu, Maui County, or Hawaiʻi Island

Hawaiʻi Energy reimburses small businesses for energy-efficiency upgrades done through an approved contractor: up to $10,000 on Oʻahu, or up to $15,000 in Maui County and on Hawaiʻi Island. It's aimed at smaller operations: under 5,000 square feet, restaurants, or 30 kW demand or less. You pay the contractor first, then get reimbursed.
