Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 20, 2026

Introduction

Gidens, LLC ("Gidens," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Gidget platform and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use Gidget. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account registration details (name, email address, business name)
  • Profile information you add to your Gidget account
  • Business documents, forms, and files you upload or generate through the Service
  • Communications you send to us

2.2 Information From Third-Party Integrations

Gidget allows you to connect third-party business applications ("Connected Applications") to your account. When you authorize a connection, we may access and process data from that application on your behalf, including:

  • CRM platforms (such as HubSpot): contact records, deal pipeline data, company information, and customer activity
  • Accounting software (such as QuickBooks Online): customer records, invoice data, payment history, and financial summaries
  • Communication tools: email metadata, calendar events, and scheduling data
  • Other business tools: as Gidget expands its integration library, additional data types may be accessed based on the permissions you grant

We only access data you explicitly authorize. You may disconnect any Connected Application at any time through the Integrations tab in your dashboard. We do not store third-party data beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

2.3 Data Processed by the Triage Room

Gidget includes a feature called the Triage Room — a data intelligence and workflow automation pipeline. The Triage Room may process business communications, documents, and data from Connected Applications to surface insights, flag sensitive information, identify action items, and automate back-office workflows. This processing occurs entirely on your behalf. Sensitive data categories detected by the Triage Room (such as financial data, personal identifiers, or confidential business information) are handled according to the protections described in this Privacy Policy and are never used to train AI models or shared with third parties.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration)
  • Device and browser information
  • IP address and general location
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Power Gidget's AI assistant features and workflow automation
  • Connect and sync data across your Connected Applications
  • Send transactional communications (account alerts, security notices)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your business data or data from Connected Applications to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We work with trusted vendors (such as cloud hosting, database, and security providers) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements
  • Connected Applications: Data is shared with third-party platforms only as directed by you through your integration authorizations
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Gidens, our users, or the public
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Data accessed from Connected Applications is retained only as long as necessary to deliver the requested service or feature. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@gidens.com. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. OAuth tokens used to connect third-party applications are stored securely and are never exposed in plaintext. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Withdraw consent for specific data processing activities
  • Disconnect any Connected Application at any time

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@gidens.com.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@gidens.com and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
